What I learned During My First Year of College!

I am going into the third week of summer and I could not be happier to be home (and not worry about statistics!!) Although I do miss my friends, (and family dinners in the dining hall and movie nights with tea and popcorn) I really do love that I am writing this at home rather than in my dorm room with people screaming down the hallway or music blasting above my room. I learned a lot during my first year of college, both good and bad things, and wanted to share these things. Wishful Thinking

Hello everyone! Happy Sunday! I haven’t posted any poetry recently (because I rarely write poetry) but I decided to today. I submitted this to Rivercraft (an annual collection of student poetry, short stories and novellas put together by students) at my school but recently found out it was rejected.
